Made using copper foil technique (Tiffany), with silvery grey coloured joints.

H is for hare! This is the eighth animal in my 2020 animal alphabet. I've made various glass animals over recent years but I set myself the challenge of creating a whole alphabet of stained glass animal hangings. I first developed this design after being involved in the Cotswold Hare Trail a few years ago, when 5 foot high painted hare sculptures were displayed in many venues across the Cotswolds. I was chosen as one of the artists who painted the giant hares and I was inspired to create my own glass moon gazing hares.
