Welcome to the work of Greg Thatcher. His work features “pleine aire” drawings in pencil, pen and ink, mixed media, and prints inspired by the avenues of yew trees in Saint Mary’s Churchyard Painswick, Gloucestershire, England. He is  fascinated with the trees and tries to work there yearly on location. He received his BFA in printmaking from the University of Victoria B.C. Canada and his MA in drawing and painting from the University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon Canada.  
This breathtaking piece captures the tranquility and beauty of the famous yew trees, creating an ambience of serenity and peace.
