I am Claire Taverner, artist, designer and jeweller. My artworks and illustrations are all drawn by hand and I work predominantly in pen and ink. 

 

Over the last 18 months, I have kept my promise to a truly great friend who insisted I keep drawing. I listened. I prioritised myself (on school days, between 9am and 3pm!) and made the time to draw, sometimes for hours, usually just for minutes.

 

She was of course right to tell me that. I had a lifetime of art qualifications and experience but never quite found the drive to push it. 

 

Now, I have a website to showcase all that I have been up to and a growing arts business that I am extremely proud of - thank you, Ali.
