At the age of 12, I wanted a new dress for a party, my mother said she would help me make one. I haven't stopped sewing since. 

Attending classes and learning new skills along the way, I eventually started  teaching myself.

My inspiration comes from  everywhere, plus, my textiles, wool, my grannies button stash, embroidery threads, ribbons,  lace and  lots of found items. Everything I make is made with lots of fiddling, much thought and dare I say, love, hoping it will be loved by someone else.  I very seldom make the same thing twice in the same fabric, what would be the point of that?
